UBIFRANCE seminar on international investors
The UBIFRANCE seminar on international investors, organised on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 May 2014, marked the beginning of a week rich in international events in Tana.
The regional committee meeting of CCEFs (French Foreign Trade Advisers) and the Madagascar Tourism Expo were held from Wednesday 14 to Friday 16 May lunchtime, at the same time as the FIM.
During the inauguration of the 9th FIM in Tana, in the morning of Thursday 15 May, the President of the Malagasy Republic honoured the Mayotte stand with a visit, the French companies of the Indian Ocean were welcomed to the French Ambassador's Residence that same evening.
Most of these private Mayotte companies are members of the Mayotte Export Club.
The Chair of the Mayotte Export Club, Soizic DURET-MOTARD, Head of International Operations and Architect with CET Mayotte, also spoke at length with Madagascar's Prime Minister and his special adviser, a former member of the private sector in the water and wastewater treatment domain.
Common issues with Mayotte were raised, as were proposals for sharing expertise.
